Send a message to a loved one in this greeting card featuring white cranes flying diagonally across a series of stylised pine trees, and trails of purple and red wisteria on a charcoal background, highlighted with intricate gold detailing. Due to the handmade nature of the paper and the density of the black ink, pigment transfer may occur. Each design features metallic gold ink for a truly opulent finish.
Each card is handmade in our bindery in the South of England by applying this beautiful silk-screen printed paper, selected from an archive of designs in Kyoto Japan, on to a luxury off-white card combined with our own Japanese-inspired gold printed pattern on the back. The inside of this beautiful card is left blank for your own message suitable for any occasion, from birthdays, engagements, weddings, new arrivals, as well as a thank you & well wishes.
DESIGN
Flying Cranes / Black – White cranes flying diagonally across a series of stylised pine trees, and trails of purple and red wisteria on a charcoal background, highlighted with intricate gold detailing. Due to the handmade nature of the paper and the density of the black ink, pigment transfer may occur. Each of our designs are selected from an archive of designs in Kyoto Japan, where we work with family-run silk-screen print studios to produce our covering papers. This paper features a gold accent screen, that gives it that truly opulent finish.
PRODUCT CARE
Whilst our silk-screen printed papers are incredibly durable, they are delicate and need to be handled with care. We do not laminate or coat the papers, as this would detract from their beautiful hand-printed tactile quality. We recommend storing your products away from direct sunlight – as this can bleach the colours, and avoid direct contact with heat, water & oil, and any situation that is either too dry or humid. These products are made with materials that will react to their environment. Each product is handmade and therefore may be subject to variations in size, colour and alignment of pattern.
